Wow - her nails are nice and short! Blueberry's nails grow crazy long. Despite our hiking and walking - I have to really work to keep them pared back. It's really strange - when I first adopted her, her nails looked quite a bit like Ruby's and yet she was pretty inert during her months in rescue.
I've tried to be really diligent about keeping up with Ruby's nail trims - her dew claws worry me because they grow fast and she tends to rub her eyes a lot. My previous dogs' nails were always too long and they were black so it was a scary endeavor. I even bought one of those electronic "Quick Finder" clippers and it didn't work at all. It was showing the red alert light when I was nowhere near the nail. Ruby's being white make the task much easier.
Too cute! And true.

DeleteThose are some well-manicured paws, there! Cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by, Lindsay! I try to clip Ruby's nails every few weeks to keep on top of it. Her quick being visible makes it so much easier.
DeleteBeautiful Ruby paws!!! Love the shot and the quote!!!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea Dean Koontz wrote such a book! I'll have to check that out.
