The Ginger Sisters had people food for Thanksgiving. Since I don't eat red meat or poultry (and refuse to prepare it myself), I got them some roasted chicken from the grocery store deli, which they had alongside brown rice, cottage cheese, steamed green beans and pumpkin.
Ruby and Boca supervised my activities in the kitchen as I cooked all afternoon, then everyone enjoyed their feast and my dad and I watched movies the rest of the night. It was a wonderful holiday, and I was grateful for the companionship of my human and animal family.

Awe! They are too cute! We usually make our girls plates for Thanksgiving but since we had Friendsgiving at my friend's house, we couldn't do that. We did save them some turkey from our plates, though so they did get some! :D
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a fun Thanksgiving, that's one of the best ways to celebrate, IMO! :D
Yum!!
ReplyDeleteLucky pups!
ReplyDeleteGosh those plates of food look delicious. Glad you had a nice holiday.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the exact same thing. I have never found food in a dog bowl more appetizing than this one.
DeleteI would eat all of it!
ReplyDeleteWow! They really scored!! Blueberry and I shared my homemade apple pie. There's a boatload of sugar and butter in it so she didn't get to eat as much of it as she wanted. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet of you! Lucky Ginger sisters! :)
ReplyDeleteLucky girls!
ReplyDeleteLucky girls! I made sure Dante and Ziva got some yummy pig ears to chew on for thanksgiving day.
