Spring was slow to arrive in Colorado, but now that warm and sunny has taken over cold and snowy, I felt motivated to shake out the cobwebs and freshen up my house, and was happy to partner with PL360 to promote an awesome spring cleaning giveaway. It's hard to be too much of a neat-freak with a house full of animals, but I like my spaces to be clean and organized, even if there is dog and cat hair on everything. I'm not a fan of harsh chemicals like bleach and ammonia, and hate the strong smell of a lot of big-name cleaning products. PL360's cleaning wipes are fragrance-free, and their spray cleaners have a light citrus scent which I don't mind at all.
Ruby and Boca are fairly clean as far as dogs go - they don't shed anything like my previous two double-coated dogs, they don't drool, their super-short coats don't pick up too much dirt and my fenced area is all concrete. The real mess-maker around here is my senior cat, Nina, who doesn't even earn her keep by appearing in pictures!
Boca demonstrates that a hard-working pet mom's house-cleaning chores are never done, especially when you have a tiny old kitty who sometimes forgets where her litter box is. We forgive her, though, and PL360 makes clean-up easy with stain and odor removing spray and deodorizing carpet powder.
My favorite product is probably the cleaning wipes - I keep a container upstairs and downstairs and use them for cleaning up minor messes, wiping down counter-tops, and even wiping off the bottoms of my shoes when I come in from a walk.

ReplyDeleteI live in a basement apartment that isn't very well ventilated, so Baby and I often have double cleaning duty--if I leave the windows open all sorts of stuff blows in from outside, and if I don't then the apartment gets moist and weird.

My pups like to play in the dirt and run through their pool or the sprinkler. Constantly cleaning up paw prints and flying mud, so using safe products would be terrific!
ReplyDeleteOh sure blame the cat who's not even around to defend herself. I've got her back! TW always uses Method and other natural cleaners. We have to check these out. Love your little(?) helpers. I'm sure she'd clean up the mess she makes when she dishes out my cat food.

I have a 16 week old Mini doxie (and a 9 year old cat), so I'm sure I'll be cleaning up potty messes since we're still working on that.
